Volt is immediately hiring for Automotive Technician in West Chester, OH



As an Automotive Technician you will be:

Responsible for following proper procedures for setting up and maintenance of machines in the Fab Shop.
Responsible for following proper procedures for measuring record, add random pipe length, and cutting pipe with band saw and/or torch.
Responsible for moving loose and /or bundled pipe from various locations within the pipe yard.
Responsible for assembling pipe orders whether in single sticks or bundles and maintaining work supplies in an organized manner.
Responsible for observing necessary safety precautions for fabrications, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping of pipe for storage and transportation.
Responsible for inspecting and maintaining all forklift equipment in functional condition.


This is a Full-time Contract opportunity.


Duration: 6 Months Shift: 2nd Shift

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience with machinery such as pipe threaders, band saws, roll groove machines, plasma cutting, Landis Machine, automatic welding machines, and pneumatic banders. - Preferred.
Experience in fire sprinkler pipe fabrication and sort/shift pipe ranging from -" to 10".
Experience of auto mechanics, machinery maintenance, automotive lines, diesel, or farm equipment
Knowledge of math skills, ability to calculate quantities of product on hand. - Preferred



Pay Rate: $18.00 - $21 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
