- MRI Technologist Traveler
- A staff level position in which the MRI technologist produces
quality diagnostic MRI scans on patients of all ages using the MRI
scanner and associated equipment for imaging and image
manipulation.
- Technologists independently perform or assist the licensed
independent practitioner in the completion of radiographic
procedures.
- Technologists prepare, administer, and document activities
related to contrast media and medications in accordance with state
and federal regulations or institutional policy.
- Technologists educate patients and their parents regarding
procedures performed and safety within the MRI department.
- Responsible for maintaining CPR certification and ARRT
registration in addition to participation in hospital-wide
mandatory education.
- Responsible for participation in 'on-call' rotation.
- Job Requirements
- HSD/GED is required
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology/Sciences or Medical
Imaging related discipline is required
- Radiologic License - Ohio Department of Health is
preferred
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in
Radiography required
- ARRT registry in Magnetic Resonance required
- CPR is required
- Schedule Information
- 3 twelve-hour shifts per week either 6:30a-7p or 7:30a-8p
- Rotating week days
- Cover Sat/Sun every fourth weekend
- Including call on the weekend nights and one night of call
during week
- Unit Specific Information
- Unit specific competency exam required. Passing score required,
must be updated annually.
- Additional Details
- Proof of I9 or Attestation
- Government issued photo ID required. Photo Identification must
be carried on person during hours of service to client.
- Proof of Everify or Attestation
- Please require if nurse is working on a compact license
- Required for: PICU, Pediatrics, Pediatric ER
- Required for all units including Ultrasound, CT Tech and EEG
Tech. BLS is not required for MLT/MLS.
- Preferred but not required for RRT - NICU.
- As required.
- Required - Primary Source Verification
- NURSYS verification required as applicable (required for all
RNs).
- CPI is required for Behavioral Health.
- Required for RNs.
